My grandpa, who is an extremely devout orthodox man, was once given a book of mormon when he visited us in the US. He read it and immediately put together five pages worth of notes on its errors. ☦️

Mormons are like, "The church fell away, now let's make sci-fi plot with Christian imagery."

Lifelong Mormon and returned missionary here. Upon scrutiny, Mormonism just doesn't hold up.

I'm leaving and being baptized Othodox next month. It's been quite a journey. My family is sad about it. Please pray for me.

Thanks Kyle and all.

As a transplant to Utah, the amount of Mormons showing up to the new set of inquirers classes and joining the church every year is encouraging. Glory to God!

As someone who lives in Utah, we as Christians NEED to talk about it. Most of my friends who became atheists or "Buddhists" were Mormons.

Orthodoxy is growing quite quickly in Utah. Many Mormons are coming to the truth

My family is all Mormon. None of them know I want to convert and I'm very nervous about telling them. Pray for me

I went Mormon for a little didnt take long to realize how absolutely, verifiably false it was.

I had a Protestant pastor, one day, look me in the eye and ask me

"Do you really believe you will become equal to the Father?"

And it was right then, when I didnt just listen to it or talk about it, but I actually THOUGHT about it I realized I could not be Mormon.

Its not just heresy, its blasphemy.

Edit: below, you can see what I'm talking about in the lengthy comment section. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit that I was rescued out of that belief.

Remember all, Mormons need our love and compassion. They have been led astray. Lets help them to the true Triune god. Amen.

Hey kyle this is great. I am in the Mormon church but I have been doing research for a while now and definitely believe in Orthodoxy. I told my parents a few months ago but they wouldn’t let me go to the liturgy. I am going to try again pretty soon and this video is really helping to focus my thoughts.

I converted from Mormonism to Orthodoxy because the epistemology to truth in Mormonism is so inconsistent it’s sad. Once I read early church history all I saw was orthodoxy

I was born and raised a Mormon (although not in the US, so the cult-like elements were lesser). I came to atheism really early in my life (I already considered myself agnostic at like 10 and atheist at 12) because as a kid I had a faith crisis and mormonism hadn't any way of refuting those doubts as it's ""theology""" is extremely inconsistent if not downright ridiculous. It has been a long way of searching for truth via philosophy, science and what not and I've recently came to the conclusion that Orthodoxy is the way. I'm looking forward to getting baptized in the Orthodox Church but unfortunately for me the Church is pretty much non-existent in my country (Mexico) and I'm not old enough nor economically stable enough to travel to another country on my own. Also my family doesn't approve my inclination towards Orthodoxy. Any suggestions? Pls pray for me, God bless.

As an ex mormon whos family is still all mormon i appriciate this.

But its hard to break people out of a cult when they ignore evidence

I've seen these two types of exmormons: the ones who become extremely hedonistic and liberal, and the ones who want to know the truth and study what Christianity truly is. That was my case, at first I was angry with the church because I felt "scammed" by it, but in my heart I knew I was Christian, so I started to study the Bible and Christian history. It took me around 3-4 years to discover Orthodoxy after leaving mormonism. At first, I was lurking in evangelical or protestant movements, and I almost visited a Baptist and a Pentecostal church during my learning journey, but I finally found Orthodoxy, the ultimate truth. It's going to be two years since I baptized in June, and I still struggle and argue with my mormon family about it, but we have managed to find peace and live together.
