Bluefin tuna sells for a record $3.1M in Tokyo auction

Kiyoshi Kimura , known as Japan's "Tuna King," paid a record $3.1 million for a 612-pound bluefin tuna at an auction. Rupert Wingfield-Hayes from BBC News reports from Tokyo.

Every year a couple of Japanese dudes who have huge sushi chains show up at the first auction of the year to throw their $$$ around. I've only had a handful go to the Japanese auction, they only send the best of the best.
