A look into the increasing amount of man-made noise pollution and its effects on neighboring wildlife soundscapes.
This video explores the various natural and man-made sounds in and around Bellingham wildlife corridors situated along I-5 and how the increasing amount of man-made sounds pollute the wildlife soundscape. This pollution has immediate effects addressed in this video, and long term effects yet to be discovered. This mini documentary addresses the role noise pollution plays in harming habitat connectivity and wildlife behavior through the perspective of Western Washington University environmental science instructor and wildlife ecologist Greg Green.
