One of my favorite songs on this LP and one of my favorite by Irene Cara, period. Irene Cara's inspiring lyrics, warm vocals, enthusiastic personality, and those soaring synthesizers were uplifting. As opposed to contemporary Pop culture with its spoiled, unappreciative, sociopathic mindset. Irene Cara's passing around Thankgiving 2022 is a massive loss for American Pop culture.

This song was the first song on Side 1 of "What a Feelin'". In the video when she throws needle off the album, it's a Geffen album. That was her label. For all we know, it was a copy of "What a Feelin'".
