Why does Yoda always look different?

Why does Yoda look so different all the time? Yoda will mainly be CGI when he's fighting, otherwise he will be a puppet.

TCW 2014 Yoda is my favorite Yoda after the original puppet. The design really made him feel like a real person and he had lots of good character moments.

I think Rebels Yoda’s big issue is his weirdly round head. Yoda usually has a triangular-shaped head, but here he’s straight up a circle. If they just made the head more pointy it would’ve fixed the whole design.

It's because every version of Yoda we see is a different Yoda. You see, any time when Yoda felt like he wasn't stong enough or powerful enough to defeat the dark side, he would use a secret Jedi power that allows you to call in a alternate universe variant of you that can handle your problems, and you take their place and deal with their problems which to them are unfixable but to you are fixable. Or maybe I'm just faded and bored
