Jon: Learned how to be a leader, a warrior, to do the right thing and learned about the true enemy of Westeros and the world.
Sansa: Saw the real world, suffered at the hand of the cruelest and most vicious people in Westeros, lost her naivity and her innocence and grew up.
Arya: Saw the dirty and corrupt world as a peasant, suffered the lost of most of her family and decided to reject her identity in order to fulfill her revenge.
Robb: Became a ruler at a young age, fought with honor, yet his mistakes and trust were betrayed by the worst of humanity.
Bran: Lost his legs, yet gained the vision of the Gods and when the coming threat comes, he'll do anything to stop it.

The giant in armor made of stone is Sansa who protects herself with the name "stone"

I think the armor of a stone giant might be littlefinger. His father's sigil is the giant of braavos.

Wouldnt the shadow with the golden armour be Joffery? If the vision is Sansa crying about her direwolf and Ayra sad about her friend, The hound fits because he killed The butchers boy, but Jamie doesn't fit. Joffery would fit because he caused the whole incident.

I feel that in many ways, GRRM made a different kind of story and changed the well-known fantasy tropes to his liking. Then, we get Dan Weiss and David Benioff to come in to make a TV show, where they pretty much reverse those changes and tropes are there.

TV show is so ridicilous with its changes. So annoying...

Maybe Bran's dream of John's skin becoming pale and blue is a hint of becoming a White Walker. The lore hints at great sacrifice being required to defeat the Others. Just shooting in the dark here, but maybe defeating the Others will require John sacrifice his humanity to keep the Walkers from wiping out humanity. Better than him getting a happy ending with Daenerys. That would be just so.. not-ASOIAF-ish.

Everyone forgets John snows dream in g.o.t. It hints to Ned, robert death the destruction of winterfell. The possible death of arya if i recall right, though her being no one may be her reprieve . And voices calling him to the crypt
