He is still mechanically insane and literally just the thought that instead of retiring, he is still playing, and winning worlds at this age is spectacular and by far more impressive than any other player.

I think people are not giving Faker enough credit. The guy still has a lot of skill and has been playing for a long time. We act like we can do many of the things Faker does just cause we’ve seen it before. Perhaps other players are performing well or doing better, fine, but that doesn’t take away from Faker. It’s a more competitive stage now because other players now have a chance to catch up.

The reason he is the goat is because he stayed at the top level since close to the beginning, all the top players of their year got their 15seconds of fame he is 6 years in where all faded and still leading his team to worlds. Not just leading but playmaking where all his peers at season 3 have slipped into memory.
