Remember when Dom, Thorin and Monte monetized Faker and T1 for an entire month just so they can get back the bets they lost against Faker after Worlds. Good times.

This is one thing a lot of people usually ignore from Faker because he's used to be known as a mechanical god but even from back then, his macros and general knowledge of the game was ahead of everyone. I remember Dopa saying in one of his streams back then (around 2015-2016?) that he used to learn a lot of midlane macros from Faker.

He’s one of the toughest ones to keep watching his streaming tho..

Remember, Faker changed the game. When he showed up, he changed how everyone looked at macro.

You can see how Faker manager the wave and time really well every game by looking on the river, he always step there first when his Team want to do Dragon or anything in the river. Also he rarely recall when the time his team need to fight for a target.
Faker also make a lot of decision that can go really bad if it's not work, he bet on that and believe his teammate too, he success so many time.
*You can see the game again LNG, Scout kill Faker's Sylas (Faker can survive but he decide to come back and fight) but Faker came back really fast after that while it take longer for Scout to do that, so T1 got the Dragon easy. Same for the game again BLG wher Faker dodge all Yagao skill and he has to recall for more Mana, Yagao lost the Team fight later because he got there too late, Faker just know he need to save HP and Mana for more important thing.

Another thing about Faker's timing (and T1's coordination) is that he can sometimes deny the opponent to get the chance to recall and buy items for power spike, because they have to clear mid-wave and then immediately contest objective. Then T1 usually proceeds to win these teamfights with small margin and snowballs.

Don't let this video distract you that Dom has to make a 10 minute video of glazing TheShy 💀

I swear I've watched this video before, was It reuploaded?

EDIT: I guess they added some of the worlds plays Faker did, but the voiceover is the same. Cool video!

Question should be "Why Faker is not the GOAT?". Faker being GOAT is a fckin fact, that whoever will say otherwise is probably a hater or sum'n.
