Awesome!!! Fantastic work. This would be the Trek show I want to see. Anson Mount knocked it out of the park. I thought Ethan Peck actually did a better job than Zachary Quinto, even though he was working with a script that didn't play to the strengths of the character. And I want to see more from Rebecca Romijn's version of Number One, because we didn't get to see her flesh out the character. And I think the redesign of the Enterprise was actually well done. I compare it to Galactica. They took the design from the original show and built it from there. And I think it looks great.

Mount's portrayal of Pike added a much needed ST vibe to ST:D S2 for myself. I was disappointed to learn near the end of the season that he would not be returning as Pike. Nice video using the latest STO ship.

It would actually be nice to have a pre-qual series of Star Trek. Capt. Pike never got the recognition he deserved when the original series was being developed, I feel.
In the original series, they made him out to be more of a cast off when NBC refused Roddenberry's first pilot. Then he became a historical footnote in Trek lore when the TOS episode, The Menagerie, was made.
Say what you want about Discovery as a series, but they pulled Pike out of the obscure "footnote" status and gave him the recognition he greatly deserved.
