Very good car. 6 air bags, 4 cylinder highly refined 1200 cc engine, good space, 185 mm ground clearance, Hyundai excellent after sales service. Futuristic, make it great..

Lets hope that Hyundai continues giving 4 cylinder engine in the years to come for exter. If other automakers are doing 3 cylinder, it is not much time left before Hyundai Exter becomes 3 cylinder also.

This car is good only in top model. Til S model it gets 14inch tyre, no back camera. Only good thing abt this is it has 6 airbags. I chose punch over this as it has less space and also no safety ratings.

I sat in this car felt i was really dumped in a box. No doubt good budget n features. Felt lower than Alto K10, Ignis, swift and wgat not. Finally bought Tiago Nrg (XZ) top model. Driving dynamics and stabilty in all road terrains be it corner n bumpy roads is excellent. Pls regarding build quality u always say its good for every unsafe cars. Dont do that its misleading ur Subscribers into a false path. Rest is good with u. With love from Mysore city (Karnataka State)

Today, I test-drove both brand-new vehicles, each with a mere 17 kilometers on the odometer, from two neighboring dealerships.

The Punch resembled an elephant reluctantly pulled by a rickshaw, featuring stiff levers and a noticeable lack of refinement, coupled with subpar material quality.

Contrastingly, the Exter exhibited a similar weightiness but boasted a touch of smoothness, superior material quality, and a more refined engine.

Neither vehicle caters to those seeking driving pleasure or dynamic performance.

Despite having driven Tata models from Punch to the latest Safari, none offer the joy of driving or high-quality materials.

In comparison, Maruti cars provide a vastly superior driving experience and overall feel. However, safety concerns make Maruti less appealing as an option nowadays.

The day Hyundai Exter scores 5* safety ratings at NCAP (just like Verna), it will be game-over for Punch and others in the segment.

Exter has the same 1.2L NA 4-Cyl engine as offered in i20, i10 Nios and it is a very good, smooth and reliable NA engine with great perfoemance and also fuel efficient.
And Hyundai far exceeds at interior quality and cabin experience over any other budget(non-luxury) brands.

Punch, despite being the safest 5*rated car in the segment, suffers with basic Tata issues of quality, knocking, random buzzing-ticking, build irregularities, fuel economy, braking, alignment issues, panel gaps and above all, worst noisy-vibrating-weak 3cyl 1.2L NA engine.
