Very touching song. In 1960 when this movie was released I was 12 yrs. old today I am 75 and can't forget every word of this beautiful song sung by Lata ji and music composed by Shankar Jaikishan ji. Lots and lots of bittersweet memories of 65 yrs.and listening to some of the master pieces from Bollywood.

My nani cried her heart out today, she used to live a lane behind her house in mid 70s in Bombay, she really wished to meet her in private, but guess some wishes aren’t fulfilled ever. This is her favourite song of Lataji and takes her back to the life that my nani spent in Bombay back then, she often remembers her golden memories with Lataji’s songs, in our hearts forever❤️
