FYI, You didn't have a Chrome process running on the first try. You just found your grep command looking for Chrome.

Gotta love htop, which is basically top on steroids ... and one of the few terminal programs I use that are responsive to mouse clicks - so cool and useful

One thing I haven't been able to find out yet and would love some info on is "Load" ... I have had times where CPU is 20% and load is 2.5 and the computer is responsive ... I have had times where CPU is 20% and load is 10 and the computer is almost unresponsive ... Htop and Top will show CPU usage .. but it doesn't show what is creating the 'load' so I cant find the offending program.

@Hak5, I am planning to use linux as my primary OS. Ubuntu is a possibility, since it is easier. What I don't like about that is the fact it comes with some apps that I don't want (amazon for example). And I saw on internet that it comes with spyware as well. Can you do a HakTip explaining how you remove crap from Ubuntu? Thanks

so basically your audience doesn't know how to use man or info? Times have changed... when you used to ask stuff like this online back in the day you just got ignored after they told you to RTFM.
