MGB GT running MX5 engine (Update)

Since the old charged engine spat it's dummy out I have been enjoying summer on natural aspiration. New exhaust has been fitted together with a few tweaks.

My mechanic has a beautifully overhauled, customer-abandoned MX5 engine he's itching to drop into my 1977 MGB for roughly half the cost (labor included) of having the B's compression-challenged 1.8 rebuilt by our local machine shop. After watching this video, I've become a believer. Will be handing over the car to him next week. Thanks for making a hard decision a whole lot easier.

It's a perfect engine I believe for the car, I am also toying with the idea of putting a 1.6 unit into the Midget I have here.
