MGB GT Running MX5 1.8 engine

My BGT running the new 1.8 engine and transmission from an MX5 NA.

Thank you for your responses. I will need to look up the brand and type of exhaust parts that you refer to. You quickly mentioned in your first video what parts you used to do the motor and transmission mounts. If you could be more specific that would be great. My MGB is a 77...so I will need to adapt your ideas.  I think there could be potential in selling a "kit" for a MGB to Miata engine swap...Frontline used the engine...so that was my starting point as well. Hi. I have been toying with the idea of what engine to put into my MGB GT cafe racer/ sebring and I was thinking about the MX5. After hearing it in your video I am convinced this is the engine and sound I want. Was the wiring difficult? I looked at the pics in the link you put up and it looked like a bowl of spaghetti lol.

Doing a similar project...MGB roadster with a 1.8 NB.  Interested in your choice of exhaust system. I like the sound of a cherry bomb....but really like the tone of  e-type jag. Any thoughts? Thanks.
