Having worked in a factory/plant setting I can assure you, absolutely assure you, that if a security guard claimed they saw something spooky, the entire plant and all employees would know about it in less than 48 hours, giving extra time for those not currently on shift.

I like the idea that at least some of these humanoid encounters are the results of aliens trying their absolute best to make something that would be friendly looking and approachable to humans but inadvertently failing miserably. Like how when we make a dummy or a model of an animal to try and study them we stand back and think, 'Yeah that looks perfect, that belongs in a museum, ' but the actual animals would run in terror from this weird looking abomination.

Very well done, Sir, you did your homework! Yeah, the Santa Isabel Sightings is one of our classics here, in Argentina. I had the privilege to talk with Dr. Galindez in the 80's about it and saw the sculptures myself, as the original photos and papers. And also I visited the factory too, in that time; is a small city near the city. I know some people would think in actual terms about things like drugs, but in 1972, in my country, you had more chance to see a pterodactyl hanging on a tree than find out people on drugs, specially in a workers's small city like the one that surrounded Santa Isabel... And don't worry, you didn't miss anything in your translation!

As a security guard, I can confirm we gossip. It's like a sewing circle. Granted, we gossip about different things.

Like the time I found a homeless man licking sidewalk.
I asked him "are you alright, can I help you?" He replied, "No thanks, I'm almost done".
I just stood there kinda stunned and considered the situation. Eventually he just got up and left, he didn't bother explaining, he just left.

It sounds like this creature has a need to be seen. Putting the light on himself in changing room, slowing down guy's motorcycle, shaking the truck, appearing in bus mirror. He doesn't sound like he's a master of furtiveness, and hiding.

Ive worked nights before in relatively normal places, security at a resort, etc. Never one time in my life have i walked into a giant empty room in the middle of the night and NOT turned on all the lights. This dude walks in the bathroom and just rolls with the ambient light from all the way across the room? Absolute madness.
