Why Do the Vikings Hate the Backup QB Position? 🤔🤔🤔

The Minnesota Vikings seem hellbent on having the worst backup quarterback situation in the NFL while jettisoning anyone who actually performs well in game situations (aka Kyle Sloter). Why?

Great video on a sensitive topic for the Vikings! Why the hell did the Vikings unload Sloter?? I thought he did well when he arrived and potentially a starter for the Vikings, either by earning the spot or circumstantial through injury to the starting QB~

I think part of it is $$$. Teams only want to spend a certain % of their cap at any one position. If you have a big-dollar starter at QB, the backups are going to be either a bargain-basement vet or a someone on their rookie contract.

I have always wondered myself why the Vikings haven’t taken the Backup QB spot seriously! Even when Sloter was backup he was never gonna get a legit chance at all once again HE himself was nothing more then a warm body behind the Starter.
