The observations trenches and bunkers you show were never Syrian. They look down upon Syria not Israel. It's too far from the old border with Israel to have been useful to Syria as an observation post. Built by Israel following the Six Day War to observe military movements in Syria, it has since been replaced by state of the art facilities on the adjacent mountain to the south.
