Sometimes you get a glimpse of who someone is, and that's enough to form a lifelong opinion of them. For me and Playstation, that happened with the PS3. I will never spend another dime in that ecosystem. They are slimy.

There have been multiple leaks and reveals that Sony locks down 3rd party games. So honestly, I don't think twice about it, more than likely its true. If Sony is paying companies to keep things off gamepass, I believe we haven't even seen the worst of it in public. It's probably far worse than we can think of. Why? Sony losing Cod cash means their budget is even tighter than it was last year. I fully expect more 3rd party lockdowns, its the only way they can keep up.

That’s why I keep saying that Xbox should go to Apple if they want to put their games on other platforms. PlayStation is going to keep disrespecting Xbox, so Xbox should only do the bare minimum for PlayStation. Call of Duty, Mine Craft, Doom, only legacy multi platform games.

Yall are so in your feelings! The devs came out and said it isn’t optimized, but MS telling yall about shady deals by other companies and yall took that and ran with it. What a joke. If it was a third party exclusive, Sony would be promoting the hell out of that!

Get used to the fact the series S is the reason why devs are having a hard time/questioning about porting games to Xbox in the first place.

There should be a law forcing developers to clarify exclusivity deals outright. like sponsored deals on social platforms.

I’m no Sony fanboy, but didn’t XBOX requires development studios to release games that would run on both X and S? Due to the capabilities differences between X and S, — specifically with S being significantly weaker than PS5 and X, it would require any studio to need to implement additional resources to test and fix bugs on the S. The “S” would technically be another “console” to develop and do quality control (QE/QA/Testing/ETC).

Without that requirement to run on the “S”, releasing games on X would be more straight forward.

Xbox continues to suck and make me regret not buying a PS5 instead. They just need to cut the Xbox at this point as it’s obvious that it isn’t a priority anymore.

7:50 Its not that simple. That's why Phil said this strategy is a losing strategy for Xbox. It will cost Xbox significantly more for the same type of exclusivity deal because Xbox is not the most popular platform.

This is the exact reason Microsoft started acquiring studios. Looks like Sony is giving Microsoft more reasons to keep acquiring studios.😅

I know Sony is trying to secure some exclusivity deal for GTA 6. Let's see how that turns out.
