Well If i where to go am5 i would be much more into upgrading to the 9800X3D than a 7800X3D, if i went from a 5800X3D, its around a 35% uplift.

considering swapping for my new 7800X3D and either selling it after 2 months usage or upgrading my daughters rig which has 5800X in it, but that would mean getting a new MOBO and RAM and honestly they just play ROBLOX so used market probably better move :D
