The Inca Trail trek is one of the most spectacular ways to experience Machu Picchu, Inca Ruins & the Andes mountains. Each day is a totally different experience with their own challenges and beautiful moments.

Kylie Bearse is a Colorado Meteorologist and founder of the hiking website, Approachable Outdoors which aims at making the outdoors more accessible. While the Inca Trail is a bit more than a traditional "approachable" experience it's a bucket list item that's more than worth the effort.

I remember doing that in 2001. Our guide vanished after his first day, so we found our porters again everyday, but walked it alone!!
