QANTAS A380 QF1 Economy Class - Sydney to London via Singapore (Feb 2023) (4K)

This was the first of many flights over the following 2 weeks in February, 2023.

I spoke a little more than I have previously done in any of my videos, please let me know what you think (or if sub-titles are better).

QF1 Sydney to Singapore, with a relaxing visit to the Qantas First Lounge in Sydney, then Singapore to London Heathrow, with a quick visit to the First Lounge at Changi.

Seated in row 88, with the 4 seats to myself on the Sydney to Singapore flight, it was the perfect way to stretch out and get some sleep. The Singapore to London flight was close to full, thankfully the seat next to me remained vacant.

Upon arrival into London Heathrow it was time to collect my bag (T3) and transfer to Terminal 5 for my next flight with British Airways to Geneva (seperate booking, so unable to do the normal international transfer process).

Nice trip report thanks! I did the same flight several years ago but through Dubai instead of Singapore. It made the first leg of the flight around 14 hours but the Dubai to London flight was only about 7 hours so quite enjoyable even in economy!

Thanks for sharing, looking forward to flying the iconic QF1 myself end of November 2023! Though I get on the QF1 at Singapore as I'm taking a different QF flight over to Singapore from Sydney.

Hope too see these big birds fly from Melbourne atm there's only 1 emeritus a380 once a day used too love seeing the Qantas a380s take off

Great job, buddy! Planning a trip to Singapore in 2025. I'm probably flying from London on the A380 again. Any options: British Airways, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways, or direct flight with Singapore Airlines or Qantas? What do you recommend? Maybe something else?
P.S. The only ones we haven't flown yet are Etihad and Qantas.

I liked how they refreshed the cabins. They have new interiors, a new refreshed entertainment system and Main Menu on the TV. Having the Menu selection on the screen meant that there’s no need for paper. I wonder where the USB ports were placed in economy class?

How did you get access to the first class lounges when you fly economy? Do you pay for access or something or are you a member or something?

D'nata Catering. Heaven forbid. The 'meal' in QF business ex DRW to SYD last April I wouldn't serve to my pet brown snake. It was simply uneadible.
