Stihl 400c vs Husqvarna 572xp vs Stihl 500i

Here's a shootout between 3 of my favorite saws.
The 400c & 500i were MPI's last builds for me.
The 572xp was built by @leave_nothing_stock.

Cut times:
400c.....12.44
572xp...10.75 seconds
500i......10.50 seconds

All saws are running 28" bars and full comp square ground chain. All grinds are the same, and rakers set the at the same depth.

I'm shocked by how close the 572 is! Nice video man.. now I really want to pick up a 572 to run against the 500i on my channel

So I timed all the saws, and the facts don't line up with your opinions. I put a stop watch on all the saws and timed each one 3 times and came up with an average of
12.63 for the 400,
10.70 for the Husky 572xp,
10.78 for the 500I.
So the Husqvarna 572xp and the Stihl 500I were virtually a tie. Plus that fact the Husky is going that with 9 cc's less motor and only a single port exhaust. Leads me to the Husky as the clear winner.

Those 500’s are just insane, the size of the power head is what always gets me. It’s the same size as my 460 rancher, and just in a whole other class.

I’ve built a Hotwoods 572xp and she eats 500i for breakfast … Also build Hotwoods 462c that’ll make any one of those 3 saws featured cry for mama 😂💪🥩🍳😺
