Temu Nintendo Switch Deal: Scam or Legit?

I saw an ad for a $7 and a $99 Nintendo Switch deal in the Temu app and people want to know if it's a scam or if it's legit. Here's the thing. There's some fine print to be read. According to that fine print, it's a daily flash sale at 10:00 p.m. on the east coast in the U.S. Also, you have to be a new app user. It's unclear how new that means. Additionally, can you already have it in your cart and order it at 10:00, or do you have to add it to your cart after 10:00? It's unclear.

Basically, for those of you wanting to know if this is a scam or legit, all I know is that it says you can get a $7 or $99 Nintendo Switch in the Temu app in the daily flash sale, but you have to be quick. If anyone thought I was going to spend $99+ to test this scam, please show me to where money grows on trees and I'll gladly journey there.

Anyway, if anyone does get this $7 or $99 Nintendo Switch offer in the Temu app from the daily flash sale, tell me down below and provide convincing evidence. Anyone can say they got it, but only people who actually got it can show us the receipts. Thanks for watching.

I won and ordered one for $7 on May 31, and as of June 8 it’s still saying “Preparing to Ship”, but everywhere I’ve looked they say it took weeks to get theirs… I’m skeptical of the YouTubers that got theirs, so if mine comes, I’ll update this post to say if it’s legit or not. 🤘🏽

I read somewhere before that Temu originally started as an offshoot from a data collection agency in China…. I just tried look up that article so I could link it here but I can’t find it 😞 but it makes sense to me. Sell items at an extremely low price via online so they can database everyone’s personal & financial information for the chinese gov’t. Could be a stretch but can be equally true as well

TEMU is based somewhere in Europe. I can’t remember all the details, but I looked into the company before I got in on a flash sale.

So far I’ve gotten three $99 Switch OLEDs from them. All were the Splatoon 3 Edition. All were brand new. They took 10-12 days to arrive. And they were all boxed to be sold in Japan, meaning the print on the box and leaflet inside were primarily in Japanese.

Other than that it’s the same Switch as anywhere else, which are all region-free (except the ones sold in mainland China). I tested them out, they work online, serial numbers are valid, all is good. I didn’t even need an outlet adapter; the power adapters we use in North American are also compatible in Japan.
