Still not happy about how easy westerners talk about ‘negotiations’ in the sense of Ukrainian having to give up land to Russia… Giving in to Russia IS what got us in this mess. Only a real defeat will stop Russia. And only THAN negotiations should take place about how to normalize relationships between Russia, Ukraine and the west. He hasn't understood that the public discussions about what we are going to deliver are the fastest and most effective way to make the Russians to change their behaviour without even one weapon being delivered. I don't say this works all the time and in all cases, but if a result of delivering long distance weapons is that Russia is moving their depots and airfields deeper into their country, that's excactly what we wanted them to do.
