Wooaaahhh!!! sirs! Have you opened up your youtube? amazing. Firstly if you are reading this Deep work has been a savior, and yay it did help me quit all social media, been living 2 years without it, good life.
I however have been facing issues managing my time, because as a student looking up to getting into college, deep work seems a luxury between bizarre attempts of trying to give it to my studies and also my ECs. The difficulty really is training your mind to focus on a diverse range of work at your table. The productivity gurus don't appeal to me, but your work has been really influential to me and the people I have recommended your work to...

How do I send Cal a question?

My question - What do you do when : you are focused on a cognitively demanding activity (a doctor studying for exams), you have zero distractions (phone and everything turned off) - but it is YOUR MIND that is the distraction (may be the break up you've just had, a fight with your mother you've just had etc.) ?
Will this still qualify as deep work?

Believe it or not: Steve Jobs invented the iPhone so people could listen to music and reorder their mobile home screen using the same device
