What I love about long productivity videos is that I can procastinate everything I have to do and feeling productive anyway.

Thomas frank + Matt D’Avella + Ali Abdaal = majority of the productivity on earth

Color-coding and time-blocking is the key. It has improved my productivity dramatically. Also, I start by planning the non-work / fun / inspiring things. Then I plan the work related stuff. Everything is in GMail and digital. And I just get reminders and don't have to remember what to do 😊

My simple productivity = remembering things in the shower then forgetting to do them once I'm front of the computer

I love how simple your system is. It really stands to show that you don't need 25 different fancy apps and programs to get things done. Also loved the loud sneeze beat - truly a work of art!

Everybody's asking how does Matt do things, but no one asks how's Matt. We live in a society.

I love keeping a really thorough calendar for work, but keep all my personal time free to do whatever. Blocking out my calendar like you did for 3 months really helps me, still the method that works for me the best!

Omg! I’ve never seen such a structured files earlier.
I’ll use your idea to sort notes by folders and to name it. This way to store information is so simple and convenient at the same time!
Thanks for sharing your ideas

Splitting up my room into different workspaces like only using my bed for sleep and only using my desk for work etc has been the biggest help lately.

“It’s not always that we need to do more but rather that we need to focus on less.” the storytelling in this video is absolutely awesome. Thank you for sharing this video❤

Not getting as much done as I was thinking... "time buffer" helped me a LOT!

My buffer time is about 30-40% of all workday and helps to keep agenda as planned

I watch your videos pretty regularly and I have to say, this one has been the most helpful to me yet! Thank you for taking the time to share the tools you use and go through them. It is super helpful to me as a creative who wants to stay organized.

The dehydrated lazy side of myself felt relief for a split second at the first water tip thinking it would solve my water intake forgetfulness 😫💦

Love that intro – I actually expected an April's fool video after that 😆 What I particularly like about your tips that those tools your recommend are not super fancy and just work. Personally, I use Google Drive/Calendar and Apple Notes for 3+ years and both just work without being fancy. Apple Notes actually got better over time. Thanks for sharing the insights on how you use them! 🙌

OMG, watching this and I realise that I had written hundreds of notes on iPhone but never thought about organize them in folders 🤦🏻‍♂️ thank Matt for this, you gave me so many hints to organise things in my life, not only the note. And I love your sense of humor 😍
One more thing, I didn't remember if I''ve watched your "track every minute" video yet, but I used to do the same thing back to around 2015. Actually that's my ex's request to know what I do thru the day, but doing that really helped me to gain the accountability w/ my time. I will find your video and watch it to know if we share the idea :33
