Which Region Has the Best Players? (Backed by Data)

This was an informal experiment because I was getting annoyed by some comments. Hope you guys enjoy :)

Eggwick just a suggestion. Silver has a very wide range players with very drastic different skills. This would mean you need alot of silvers to make the test more *accurate* but with a higher rank such as plat/diamond the skill difference within the rank is much smaller so it's more managable.

People just want to justify to that they are good at the game but they are really not, they might think since they are silver in Asia, they would be plat in NA, but this isn’t the case, each rank is equally skilled in all regions, from what I think

While I don’t agree with the testing method, the sample size being so small, there being no control group, etc I do appreciate your effort in making a video about this topic! There’s no concrete way or metric to find out the relative skill of players in different regions as of now, but this is pretty solid work for an informal study. Good job 👍.

I think, like some of the comments are saying, that people play differently in different regions. In the Singapore region players generally try and play more aim-based and don't work as well with teams. I'm Bronze II so I don't expect much teamwork but it does appear that they focus more on themselves rather than trying to find a good team flow. I think you were accurate in your conclusion, this is just something else to keep in mind. Also in Asia, students are generally worked much harder than NA and maybe EU, so they generally either don't have as much time to play games, or they work extra hard to get better at games. (These are just my observations if you feel that they are wrong please don't say anything rude) :)

About that, i reached maximum gold 3 at our Turkey server, and i manage to reach to plat 2 at Frankfurt server a couple of weeks ago. But that doesnt dictates that Turkey server is better.
Here is the biggest diffrence that i have discovered while playing 2 diffrent server,
Turkey server is mostly all aim no brain, While Frankfurt server is focusing more of a team play.
I dont have a good aim but i havent got to this ranks with my aim anyway, i personaly want to play the game as a team, this is why even if i was in bronz right now i would have still lost alot of games since bronz generaly have no idea about map control. What i am is a team player and this is why EU servers suits me better.

Mumbai players do one tap u in silver but only if they are ur enemies XD

The only problem in Mumbai servers is that the players are really toxic and filled with smurfers.

imo, game sense is also a huge part in actually playing, you can have radiant aim but get "out skilled" by a silver with the brain to flash before peeking, in my opinion I have trash aim but good game sense and that's why i got to silver 3 from iron 1, my aim has gotten better aswell but it's still mostly because i knew the best choices to make and i igled all games

I got my own take on the matter, and what I think is the reason for some players thinking they are more skilled than other countries/continents is that they're playing the blaming game. This definitely won't be true for every player that says this ( possibly they simply don't know what is the general skill level of the other countries ), but it seems like the people who say "Asia better than NA" stuff are the same people who complain about a lot of things in the game, instead of reevaluating their performances and what they should've done themselves. An important thing to note too is that it also seems that this topic is way more relevant to the lower elo side of the community, and there may be a clear reason as to why.

All of this is just my opinion though and not backed up, so take this with a grain of salt.

What happens is people from other regions watch american youtubers or streamers and see that most of the enemies are the same enemies they see in their bronze/silver lobbies even tho the yt is diamond or immortal

Having only played in Asia servers, i can't really speak for everyone here, but there IS a high skill variation in players of a single rank in the server i play in, there are as much bad players as there are good in that particular rank...and the possibility of facing a smurf is also there which might make the person believe his region's rank is the hardest

Playing on Mumbai server in low elo is so damn difficult . I was iron - bronze last act and when I started playing on on Singapore server I went gold this act .

One factor I'd like to mention is comms. I've played on both EU and NA servers and I've found that people on NA servers are far more inclined to use comms and to communicate with their teams than people on EU servers. This probably has to do with the number of players on EU servers that are region-locked but some cultural factor may be involved as well.

I can confirm that in Mumbai server plat-diamond is silver gold in Bahrain by aim wise. Bahrain server silver-gold game sense is not that great but their aim is really good. I played on Mumbai for when I started I got to silver and was stuck there I switched sever I got destroyed in Bahrain server, the more I played on Bahrain server I was not going any higher but I felt I was better. When I switched to Mumbai server I instantly ranked up to plat-diamond
