In this series 5 task, the contestants were tasked with creating the best splat from a crane.

In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.

Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

I find it hard to describe which tableau is more beautiful: Sally dancing with a sword while swinging around a condom full of whipped cream, or Mark's tragic "I've just been excreted by a giant bird" pose.

Nish and Mark were are great pairing for this season - something really wonderful resulted from their teamwork. Aisling, Sally and Bob were also excellent and made for a great field of contestants. Probably one of my favourite groups.

I already love this show and every single person who is or has ever been a part of it, but the fact that their hearts are always in the right place and they think of the needy, makes me love and respect them even more...if that’s even possible. Such a wonderful group of people.

As an American, I'm fascinated to at this glimpse of British culture. I'm quite sure that you could never show someone getting splattered by a balloon full of piss on US network TV.

One of my favourites but amazed sometimes they were allowed to do it. Seems super dangerous! Not that I am complaining!! The image of Mark at the end is a sight to behold😂

I can’t work out at 5:45 - did they just roto out the bush line and play sped up footage of the clouds only, or was Mark just moving super slowly and they sped up the whole frame? I think the first one but not entirely sure!

Why am I not surprised & in fact very impressed that the makers of Taskmaster were able to introduce a MASSIVE bukakke task on British national television?

This was only episode 2 of the series, so at this point, I still thought Sally was quite dignified. I was quite surprised that she allowed herself to be splatted with Bob's piss. Even better that it was the only one that popped initially!
