I make a big batch and freeze them on a cookie sheet. Package them with wax paper in-between. Cook on the BBQ or in a cast-iron pan while still frozen. Always tender and juicy, never fall apart.

Skip this nonsense, get a patty press, perfect patties in a mould, can't over fill it, excess gets scrapped off into next patty.
