The 2012 Kia Rio Sedan showed up at the New York Auto Show as the latest entry in the 40 MPG club. The Rio5 hatchback debuted in Geneva, but America is the much more likely spot for a compact sedan to sell. The 2012 Rio makes 138-horsepower and is priced under $13,000.

I still can't get over the transformation KIA has made. I remember my sister considered buying the all-new Sephia back in the day. KIA was a POS. But now I find myself lusting for one. Even the Rio is sharp! Wow.

Not one bad try. But these cars are not suitable for tough conditions. Also they are not enough comfortable, and not enough robust. Nope.

You think that's sleek??!!? That's probably the most awkwardly proportioned cars I've seen! It looks bulbous and the headlights are too big. It just looks ridiculous.

@evoxpisces My next new vehicle is going to be a Sportage. I said the exact same thing you did. And there are still Honda and Toyota loyalists saying they are still POS's. HAHA yeah right!
