why does whatcar always recommend ford or vw, where's that's brown envelope. I sat in a fiesta and it looked and felt like a cheap piece of shit, how good is the wv or ford 7 year warranty, haha

I own one with the 1.4 petrol. I rev it to 4k and 5k and it is not remotely "boomy"

Seems to me that after viewing several of your reviews on various cars you tend to recommend Ford & V.W a little too much... Maybe looking at Life costs should be part of your reviews too?

I Have No Problem With Ford Or V.W. They Both Make Great Cars Of Category.. Maybe Should Actually Compare Cars That Are Actually In The Same C-Segment & Not Compare against The Rio Which is B-segment.. Maybe Now They Should Lock Horns With The Kia Cee'd.. Go Head To Head On Them .. For The Sake Of The Consumer .. Like For Like Of Course.. Respectfully I say that i don't wish to put down any individual but i feel that some of the consumer magazines need to compare on a level .

they recommend those vehicles a lot because they are the best. not only are they some of the best sellers in the UK, they are considered the benchmark in this vehicle category hence the tendency to constantly compare with those particular its the same in the c-segment class. the focus and the golf will always be compared to as they are the benchmark in their respected category
