Another good video, Ren. Listening to the unfiltered roar of the engine took me back to the early 70s when I was learning to fly in a C150. In those days no training aircraft, and not that many smaller GA aircraft in general, had headphones. Didn't do too many favors for my hearing. Looking forward to more vids.

Love the Incubus poster in the back left at the beginning! Also, I used to live at Leuchars Air base right next to St Andrews, beautiful part of the country. Love the channel, LOVE Cirrus!

Wonderfully captured professional flying. I love plane watching at SMO and maybe will see 8FS sometime.

Very cool Ren Baron. We are fortunate to have such capable airplanes to allow us to experience golf in a different way. Last week I flew from SNA to Lake Tahoe to play Edgewood. Up and back in one day. Would have been a 16 hour drive. Instead it was just under 5 hours of flight time. Looking forward to seeing your next adventure. Tailwinds and gimme putts!

That was so much fun to watch! And I enjoyed it with the audio approach you had to use. Thanks for posting.

Love the videos Steve. I'm a retired corporate pilot and Dallas Police helicopter pilot. I now spend my "flight time" on the X-Plane flight sim. I D/Led a Cirrus SR22T G6 and try to fly it every day. It is such a great airplane. I can only imagine how much fun it is to fly the real one. Keep up the good work Steve.

I've picked up helpful tips from several of your videos. I like how you get your next checklist loaded up and ready to go so it's not a hassle to get to it when you need it. Got that from one of your previous videos and it's here again. This time, I picked up on the VNV Direct mode which I'm going to go brush up on.

Brandon GC is a wonderful course to play. I’m glad you made it there. Also, all my immediate family is from S. Dakota except me. Thanks for the video. Stay safe.

Loved all 41 minutes of that vid! Glad you decided to post it despite the audio challenges. I love punching in the waypoints and following along via ForeFlight. I have to say when you were told to enter a left base for 31 at KOTH I was scratching my head trying to figure out how you would accomplish that. But when the controller changed it to "straight in" all was well with the world. Not much of a golfer myself but the course, coast and deer were beautiful. Thanks again for sharing -Shane

Rennie: Question for you. Did you already have your IFR rating or did you purchase your Cirrus first as a VFR pilot and then work on getting the IFR rating? Thanks.

Hi from Belgium! Not used to this ATC terminology: enter and report a 3 mile base. What does that mean? Is a base thats makes you turn on a 3 mile final?

Ren - Love your videos! How did you attach your camera to the top of the cabin to get those great over the shoulder views of the avionics and what's ahead outside ?

Do you run your boost pump the entire flight or cut it off once you are in cruise?

Steve, I have worked with Tom Doak, the designer of that golf course.
