Stray Cats Try Catnip for the First Time!

I found some stray cats and let them try catnip for the first time EVER! All cats should be able to experience catnip at least once, right? I might have gone a little overboard with the catnip, so let’s see how crazy these cats’ reactions get.

They’d approach you more readily if you weren’t staring at them. Or you can also do long, slow blinks while breaking eye contact, if you do make eye contact with them. Long slow blinks are a gesture of peace and friendliness to cats, because the opposite - an intent, wide-eyed stare - is what cats do when they are hunting. So if YOU are staring at THEM, they think you are hunting them! 😮

Idk why cats in America and some other countries are so scared of strangers. While cats in my country (Malaysia) are superr friendly, they even invade yr space, touch you or get onto your laps when they wanna ask for some food 💀💀

You can grow catnip in your backyard, and even if you live in snow country it will die then grow back in the spring.

I planted a catnip plant in the backyard once. Got to about 12in tall. One day I came out and it was flattened. Next day is was just sticks. 2 days later it was nothing but a stub and all the dirt around it was packed like concrete.

You are a good guy for showing these cats some kindness. They deserve so much better than their current living conditions but the problem is only literally going to multiply if they are left on their own. I would love to see you TNR them. I have TNR'd feral cats and was able to socialize some of them so they actually ended up getting homes and were loved. Whether the cats can be socialized and adopted or if they can only be returned to their neighborhood, it is so worthwhile because it stops the cycle of suffering. It's a win-win. Please consider doing this. It would make for interesting videos that would inform and educate cat lovers while bettering the lives of these beautiful helpless cats, and I'm sure Kurt would be onboard with you making the world a better place for other cats.
