The stated cost savings of DDR4 vs DDR5 at this point is becoming pretty moot. The DDR5 version of this mobo is $5 more and 32GB of "good" DDR5 is $25 more than 32GB of "good" DDR4. 30 bucks is 100% going to be worth the performance/getting into the current memory gen.

So just for LTTs reference, the reason Eternal runs so well is two fold, one, their visual shading is fairly basic instructions wise, at least the part that counts within code, and secondly, they stream elements in and out constantly as you move around and look around, to where anything it doesn't need is culled so that you never are giving performance up to render something your not seeing or needing on the screen or around you.

So this is why the asus tuf 4070ti I wanted went up to 850… jokes aside I really like the tuf lineup for its great price to performance and nice aesthetics that aren’t too flashy

The fact that Asus markets the TUF line as being more mainstream and affordable while also selling custom 40 series cards for more than the reference version within that line is a little funny but, oh well.

7:26 I imagine it's a mix of Lian Li's O11 Dynamic (Evo?) and maybe Corsair's Crystal series like 680x for example. It was definitely Love at first sight for me when I found out about this PC case. I think I've never purchased something so fast off the internet. 🤣

I've always wondered if people buy the TUF cases. Every time I see one in the store I think, "That is different and ugly." I also don't personally know anyone who has used one.

I love my ancient z77 tuf motherboard for my 3770k. It was one of the first motherboards that actually utilized the dust/cooling shroud, and having been in overly dusty environments for a long time, I attribute the shroud to keeping my mobo alive.

I did switch out 1 of the tiny motherboard fans for a noctua one to help make it quieter.

Finally starting to be insufficient, but been a solid machine for the last 10 years.
