The buttered noodles I remember was butter salt and pepper and that was it! 👍 That's the buttered noodles I ate as a child... And yes I still make them like that 😁👍

Whenever my mom was out of town or not home to make dinner (which wasn't very often). My dad would make us burnt butter noodles. Sooo good. The butter had to be golden brown. Once my mom went to Florida for 5 days to help my grandma. I probably ate 7 pounds of noodles and 5 sticks of butter over those 5 days 😂

Plain pasta with chilli flakes, garlic and a bit of olive oil was a favorite quick dinner growing up at home in Spain, super underrated!

I LOVE BUTTERED NOODLES! I live in south Louisiana and we use wide egg noodles, chopped onion, cream cheese, garlic red pepper flakes and a half stick of butter. Sometimes you can also add rotel tomatoes for more spice.
