HOW TO RECORD COCKPIT AUDIO & SYNC

How do I record cockpit audio ? Let’s talk and find out, firstly you will need a headset of any kind now sometimes these can be expensive but with the right one it’s perfect. I have a smooth aviation headset which I bought for £85 and you can get 5% off if you use my code “headset4”

Secondly you will need an audio recorder with audio in capabilities, now I have a Sony audio recorder which can be bought from here and they are very cheap and easy to use

Thirdly you need adapters with the same voltage coming out of both ends.

To sync the audio and video I use Sony Vegas pro 15 and make a loud clap so everything here’s it

Great video as always. Any idea what the correct name is for the cable you used to split from the headset to your voice recorder?

Good job. After loads of experiments to try and sort out recording in the cockpit and syncing I finally decided that I would record the audio straight to the GoPro pointing at me and not have the hassle of syncing.
