Chalk Paint master Annie Sloan makes a new friend when her guest, Comfort, appears at the Paint Anything studio with a piece of plain raw silk. She intends to use it as a runner for her vintage bed. Annie tells a skeptical Comfort that they can dye the fabric using any color of Chalk Paint, then they’ll stencil on a unique pattern to give it the bohemian flair they both love. Im new to the wonders of Annie Sloan. WHAT A WOMAN!!!!

I love Annie Sloan! Absolute Gem! She IS the real deal. And of course she did all the work and in a short period of time, her hands all in and with a genuine heart and smile. Love her!
I've also Never seen a "host" leave to go pick someone up in the middle of a shoot lol. Speaks volumes as to the genre of today. Long ago are the days of Annie Sloan work ethic, she's beautiful and a treasure!!

A couple of issues that are not clear in the video: Water should be tepid. The website suggests 1 Tbs of paint per liter of water. I'd mix my paint first in a large jar, with water, shake well to disperse the paint and avoid blotches, then add to the remaining water in the basin, stir in well. After agitating fabric for a bit, remove fabric and wring out excess water. Hang to dry, over tub or outside. Once fabric is DRY, add to your Dryer, max heat setting, and tumble for at least 15-30 minutes OR iron fabric to heat set. If your end product needs to be washed, wash in tepid to cold water, dry as usual. I'd also wash it Alone, the first time, and take a peek in the washer before the rinse cycle drains, to judge how much, if any, it might bleed. Hope this helps!
