Bought an open box aeris 3-in-1 for my living room and a Dyson HP09 for my bedroom. Love the aeris for my living room. It is every bit as elite as your reviews. The Dyson, while not nearly as good as an air purifier, the fan was the reason I bought it more than the filtration so although it is extremely overpriced, it is exactly what I needed and beautiful to look at.

What I like about IQAIr is that its all manufactured in Switzerland. The majority of the competitors are manufactured in China. Also, I like that the HealthPro Plus the filter replacement is 18 months or more depending on which filter you are replacing. The carbon filter is 24 months. The cost is reasonable and you get a 10 year warrenty. I liked the video where the owner demostrated the performance within a glass chamber. The other brand that I have seen is the Aspen Air Purifier. There are differences between the two brands. Aspen uses a MERV 16 filter whereas IQAir uses H12/13 (HEPA) filters. Also, I liked that the HealhPro Plus has 5lbs of carbon. If you go with the HealthPro Plus GC that has 12 lbs of carbon.

Your selection process is sound and I love how you just helped me to pull the trigger on the Aeros 3 in 1 after watching endless videos and reading endless reviews that did not manage to condense down to the important design features that make an actually effective unit. Thank you!

Yeah, I just bought 3 extra filters for my Aeris 3-in-1 so I should have at least 4 years of use.

Hey have you tried air purifiers integrated in the AC system ? Are they efficient?

Amazing video thank you so much! My wife was just allergy tested and we learned she is ver allergic to dust mites and dust. What would be your #1 choice for an air filter for that issue? We need one filter for a 500sqft bedroom and another larger one for the living room. Money is no issue, just want to get her relief and clean the air as much as possible with dust mites in mind. Thank You for ay suggestion!!! (We do not smoke, have no rugs and all tile floors, have one medium sized dog).

Hi, Doug. Thank you for this review and your many others. In my opinion, I find your reviews and experience head and shoulders above the others. My question is—should I buy the older Aeris 3 and 1 reconditioned on eBay with H13 filtration or wait for the newer iRobot version this year? I am a potter/ceramicist working in a 550 square foot detached garage with a pellet stove heater(vented) in Minnesota winters. I am looking to filter ceramic dust at 0.1 microns to mitigate possible silicosis down the road. The Aeris 3 and 1 seems to do very well at filtering down to 0 .1 microns, but I worry since the company has turned over to iRobot, the H13 filter brick may be discontinued. Should I wait for the overseas new er H14 model or would you recommend another machine all together for my situation?

IQ-Air also has a GC Series which they claim is better than the HealthPro Plus at dealing with chemicals & odor, and much better at handling smoke - while dealing somewhat less effectively with Asthma Triggers and Allergens than the HealthPro Plus. It's listed filters are categorized differently than the HealthPro Plus, using, for example, what it refers to as "gas cartridges". Thoughts?

What's your thoughts on something like the Panasonic Whisper Air Repair with Nano X Technology?

We have the Aeris 3 in 1 in our living room and was thinking of getting 2 Winix 5500-2 for each of the kids rooms then rotating the Aeris between living room (during day) and our bedroom (at night) . We recently bought a water system for clean drinking water and the Aeris 3 in 1 and now with maintenance and filter costs per year we do not have a huge budget left for our 1200 sf apartment. Right now the Winix 5500-2 is on sale in Canada for $260 and the yearly cost of filters look like around $60 per year each which is around the budget we have for this. I know you have a video coming out in the future on this purifier but was wondering on some thoughts about it or another option in the mean time. Thanks so much in advance and for all of the great videos, they are very well thought out and detailed and i am very appreciative.

I've been into air purifiers for about 5 years and I've watched lots of reviews. I wish your reviews existed 5-6 years ago when I bought my 2, Coway 1512's and a slightly less feckless Honeywell HPA 300. Don't get me wrong, they work fine for removing smoke in the kitchen when I'm cooking bacon, but I've never found them useful for the vast majority of other tasks. Obviously, I've never expected them to remove odors (because I knew they wouldn't when I bought them), and I don't care about pollen because I don't have allergies - but they don't even remove dust and dander effectively in my opinion. That's why I bought them and I feel like I was misled.

I could not find an Aeris Air 3-in1 from a reputable retailer. Not even on iRobot's website. Anyone know where I can find these?

I recently got a aeris 3 in 1 and I love it so far! I heard good things about the Jaspr pro. The founder calls it an air scrubber rather than a purifier. But the cost of filter replacements for that unit is way too much imo.

I had a Coway 300S on order from Amazon and had no idea it was not HEPA and that better options existed. Here in Switzerland Aeris is selling the 3-in-1 for 379CHF (430$) for a limited time so I pulled the plug and ordered it! The Coway is going back to the Amazon warehouse :) Thanks!!!

What unit would you recommend in a dorm room. Price and size matters. Thank you!

What are your thoughts between MEV vs HEPA filters?

Please definitely add the Dyson TP & Big & Quiet series in the future. If possible look at the Sharp FXJ80 purifier as well.
