My IQ is 96 but my verbal IQ is 125
I just like to say “I’m kind of an idiot at times, but at least I’m good with words”

I've met people that are a totally different species from this man.

I appreciate how humble he is about his high intelligence. Many people tend to be subconsciously prideful about these things, but he doesn't give me those vibes.

my IQ is between 120-130, sometimes i can't even keep up with the average, because of my lack of discipline and willpower.

at the end of the day, ambition and discipline is a key factor to learning. sure, a high IQ is always to your benefit when you try to learn something, but it won't make you learn any faster if you don't have any discipline or ambition. because those factors really impact your concentration on the subject.

if you have a high IQ, make sure to be disciplined and motivated to learn, or else you won't be reaching your full potential.

I had an iq of 140 in highschool. Recently tested again; with poor sleep but caffinated, i was able to get 123. Which sounds legit since sleep actually has a large effect on cognition. So your iq score on the day can be 10% give or take, depending on the day. Its not completely static.

have three masters (philosophy, law and international relations) with GPA scores of 4.00, am very widely read, play different musical instruments at a professional level, often am asked to solve problems for highly educated professionals and rarely come across people who challenge me intellectually but I don't think that I was destined to be analytically intelligent. My mother is a very neurotic woman who tried to program me to be like her and revel in being self-absorbed and dysfunctional. I decided to try to survive and got into endurance sport and study analytically challenging subjects like law and philosophy. I believe that my intellectual performances were a defense mechanism against neurosis and emotional weakness.

My IQ was 129 when I was tested in 6th grade, with the different categories scoring anywhere between 112 and 139. It’s interesting because I only recently discovered this, and previously would’ve assumed my IQ to be higher. I think it’s simply because I have work ethic and immense intellectual curiosity, both of which can play as big a part as IQ. Being well-above-average but not unheard of in all three of those things has really paid off; IQ matters but it is not the only thing.

IQ doesn't decline. it's age adjusted. it can actually go up if you age better than the average person.

The very detailed in depth manner in which Peterson is able to go into his mind and pull out information with fluidity reminds me of Joseph Campbell.

He said 150. What it means is Sigma >3, which means IQ > 145. I have similar level, but I do math and physics, so I might understand this construct better than Peterson; ->>You can't really measure IQ >145; It's very simple because if you are 1 from 400, how many questions should your IQ test have to be able to make a deviation of that range? If you have 141 its approx 1 from 200. That's 99, 5% So if you have a test pattern which have i.e. 100 questions, your can basically only observe with 1% accuracy. So it's easy to see that you surely can't tell the difference of 0.5% This means that with 100 questions you might know if someone is 138, or above. But how much above, could not be told. And as the complexity of questions grow it's also not so obvious anymore what is the logic and correct answer as there can be some higher level connections too, which even the question maker has missed. I noticed this kind of issue, when I did WAIS-II test, one question had 2 correct answers, but the person who was following the test could not see that and the expectation was just 1/4. So with this concept it might be safe to ask atleast 3 x more questions.. But if there is persons like only 1 from 1000 (IQ=~150), who would actually even make these questions anymore? I mean if the questions are only in the level of IQ ~130, adding more questions doesn't even help.

Fazit; If you have an high IQ, and you understand the mathematical construct behind it, then you only answer "Approx Sigma +3 or more" and that is all there is to it. Everything else is just meaningless playing with the definitions, as after Sigma +2 (IQ=130) the measurement is just not accurate anymore.

Well, my IQ is 142 recently, i took different tests which my IQ was usually something between 125-135, but neither of them are a thing. I can understand i’m smarter than many people but not that much, according to my perspective. My english is bad (i’m from Albania), i have horrible grades in college, i have a lack of self- discipline, ect. That doesn’t mean anything
