Homeowners along the lakeshore are taking steps to protect their homes from the beach erosion. Sidney Jansma Jr. said his family has had a cottage on Lake Michigan for more than 70 years. It's the new Plan 2014 and the Moses Saunders dam that is responsible for record high great lake levels.
Flooding homes and businesses 2 of 3 years that the plan has been in place. Might be 3 for 4 this year!
