Bmw M4 vs Audi RS5

Why are people surprised that the RS5 lost to the M4? The B8 RS5 was a competitor to the E92 M3, not the F82 M4. Audi has always launched their RS cars 2-3 years after the competition.

i still take the RS5 any day over the boring M4 with its tiny V6
i prefer the naturally aspirated V8 that revs above 8K RPM.

lets be honest, the RS5 is no slow car by any means.

i dont like the turbocharged engines and good as they are and much more efficent.
there is something about naturally aspirated engines that a place in my love for cars.

The RS5 is slower but at least it sounds glorious. BMW M traded power for soul; turbocharged 6cyl do NOT stir the enthusiast.
