There were so many failed attempts of a Spider-Man film back in the 80s.

And VENOM also had a cancelled movie by New Line Cinema back in 1997 where it features Punisher-star Dolph Lundgren as Eddie Brock/Venom, that was also cancelled and they instead released BLADE starring Wesley Snipes.

The james cameron spider-man wasn’t canceled for creepy scenes. It was a battle of rights over many years that james cameron eventually decided he didn’t want to deal with.

I wanna see TASM 3 and 4 the most. Those seem really fun. Most people want TASM 3 to be about Spider-Man fighting Venom, but I think Sony was trying to set up the Sinister 6 with that movie and they should stick with it if they can.
