I'm American but my ex was Jamaican and I can 100% say he made the best fried chicken I've ever had! He also used to put ginger, onion, garlic and scotchies, and let it marinade. And then he'd throw a scotch bonnet in the oil when frying for that extra kick!

Idk about the fried chicken BUT I do know about their jerk chicken they be cooking right on the sidewalk in a huge metal barrel cut in half. Every day I would grab me some jerk chicken. They would take it off that grill chop it with a hatchet or whatever it was and wrap it foil. So good and hot, yum!! I loved Jamaica!!
