Yoo guys today we are doing a quick overview of the best gold farm in the first descendant. Once you get late game, gold becomes a massive bottleneck so I just wanted to break down where the most efficient place to farm it is. Hope you guys enjoy the breakdown!

"Item Acquisition Increase Distance Modifier." *Whew* That's a mouthful. That's their version of a pet in-game for now. Basically, you pick up items at a farther distance from your body. Mine are usually 20-23% increases. They're found on the Support Processor Components.

I'm really glad you showed your spreadsheet. Your gold per hour calculations assume you start as soon as it ends, which isn't possible solo, as it ends in a cave, and starts way outside the cave. Then there's bathroom breaks, gear check breaks, "What do you need, can't you see I'm doing something" breaks, why doesn't the mailbox have an accept all feature instead of manually clicking every single item that was sent to the mail breaks, and oh crap, I spilled my drink breaks.

was having a ton of gold issue due to all the researching i was doing.went from 10m to nothing in a matter of minutes while i was building my gley so this really helps.

you've got to try the white night gulch fortress outskirts mission, you get around 5 elites and a huge swarm of enemies that all drop around 200 kuiper and a ton of gold and is super easy to farm

the abandoned refinery unit is awkward to run solo. Theres always 1 or 2 straggler mobs and then the mission waypoint makes you run right on top of it. I backtrack 10 seconds every time

A little concerned about the low sample size and low run length but its good to have some numbers. A more accurate yet still sane methodology would be to run as many as possible over 15-30 min, calculate average run length and average gold gain, noting any outliers. This should include time to reset mission or port out and back to help others account for slower setups/hdds/ssds.

Personally I still like anticipated Ambush, just because the transcendant mod drop rate seems way higher for some reason and that gives me stuff to combine for mods I don't have.

I still prefer white night's Fortress Outskirts, as a solo player, I get around 20-25k kuiper and 260-360 gold per 6 minute run. Of those 6 minutes and this is the main reason why I like it the most, I spend 4 standing still waiting for all the enemies to spawn (I just jump on top of the nearby mountain and wait), while I wait I clear my inventory of the items I collected on the previous run, plan what I am going to farm next etc or even watch a vide or whatever, its pretty much over by the time I finish going through my stuff... and then jump down, run for 1 min or less and collect all the rewards, cancel the mission and restart.

It is must more relaxing than doing these runs where you are constantly running non stop for 5 minutes and it gives me time to have a cleared inventory and not having to wait between runs to clear everything.

i feel like the gold per hour on refinery is INSANELY exaggerated, i constantly have runs where i only get 50k gold, 80 is on the high high end, its still probably the best but not by these insane margins

Man thank you … I’ve been doing other missions thinking that was the best way to get gold but now Ik we’re I need to go 3/4m an hour wasn’t cutting it

Refinery run is a lie. I did it for a few hours solo. His numbers are all hypothetical. The amount of gold per run fluctuate extremely. I had run where I get 40k others 90k-100k. Averaging out to about 70k a run. His number say 5.5mil.
I had runs give as little as 2mil and others about 3.5 to 3.9mil. Then when I ran it with a group, the average went down even further.
So I don't know where he's getting his numbers from because they don't add up with mines at all.

I think that their is something to be said for consistency, in swamp im averaging in-between 40-60k per good run at about 45 seconds to 1 min per round with a group of 4. Yet in a 4 min run on Kuiper mine im averaging 200k per run. While that is still a 1 mill difference per hr in favor of the swamp if run proficiently i don't think that swamp is anyware near as consistent with the amount of gold you get as I was also noticing huge dips in my swamp runs some as low as 7-12k due to the nature of the pathing for the mission. Could you do a side by side comparison of 1 hr each for more exact data?

What i like about the Kuiper Mining mission is that it's quite consistant and super simple. If a view people are mining you can even briefly AFK as gold and Kuiper stays for about 1min.
Getting Abandond Refiner under the 1:15/20 mark until you have successfully restarted the mission requires more focus and ideally some team work.
With randoms or solo i would do Kuiper Mining, with a bunny of mine i would do Abandoned Refiner.
