This is a rose colored view of being an optometrist-- You neglected to mention how miserable & costly 8 years of university were. Most applicants to optometry school will never get accepted. In 2024, many patients don't want to compensate the doctor for their services. Imagine being at least $ 250, 000 in debt upon graduation-- then face more debt in buying or starting a practice.
