Just a little bit of cyclist to cyclist advise.. I was out ridding today and 20mins in when i reached down for my bottle I realised I'd left it behind i didn't think anything of it until about 40mins in when I was going up a hill and my mouth was dry I had that horrible saliva in my mouth and I was just feeling horrible then I remembered I always keep a £5 note (the old one;) in my jerseys waterproof pocket (if you have an new one a zip pocket will do) and u was passing a petrol station and I went in and brought a bottle of l water (never has water felt so good) and continued on happy and normal. Moral of the story always keep money on you when you ride because you never know what will happen that £5 note had been in my jersey pocket since February and my God was I grateful of it so stay prepared and don't forget your water bottle.. And #sayhionyourride

In regards to commuter cycling, here in the USA, I have always felt that one unwritten rule is that you should only pass another cyclist on the left side, not the right, especially if the cyclist you are about to pass is stopped at an intersection. Am I right about the existance of the pass on the left rule?
