The women don’t seem to honour those conventions to the same degree the men do. Perhaps there isn’t as much tradition yet on the women’s side? First having a teammate carelessly crash her and then having the team refuse to assist her after the crash certainly cost Demi Vollering the 2024 Tour de France.
