You Never Knew This Country Existed | Karakalpakstan | ҚАРАҚАЛПАҚСТАН

Most of us know about the five 'Stans' in the former soviet union region. But did you know there is also one more Stans- in the Central Asian Republics called Karakalpakstan. Did you ever heard of it? No, right. That is why I set myself to this not so well known region and explore its history specially the Aral Sea. The locals of this autonomous region of Uzbekistan are known as Black Hat people and are one of the friendliest you would ever meet. It was also once a famous port on the shores of Aral sea, famous for fishing and canning. Join me as I head towards this unknown region.
