Anyone else find that the sound completely cuts out of the video at 2:36 (and for the rest of the video)?

I just used tried technique for my fussy 2 week old and he passed out after 5 minutes of the 5s. He woke up a little later but it was phenomenal to see him fall asleep so quickly. It’s worth a try parents! Good luck 😌

This guy is awesome. I bought his CD recommended at the birth class and it was from like 1992 lol. He’s saying the same thing now in 2019

Oh crap. It works like a freakin charm. I’ve done it at least 5 times all ready. My son is 1.5 months old. And he is having these episodes where he can’t sleep and goes ape shet. So I tried these 5 S’s. And they work like a charm.

Read his books Happiest Baby on the Block and Happiest Toddler. Both provide great techniques. I always give them as gifts to friends who have babies. Granted every baby is different and not any one thing will work for a fussy baby. I did find his process worked almost every time for my babes.

It’s better developmentally for the hands to be up...it’s simple guys...I’m a NICU nurse...every single baby calms to being held, rocked, and/or having their bottom patted. If they’re still fussy then they are either in pain, hungry, or have a dirty diaper. Shushing really is powerful and babies love to be on their tummies (just long enough to calm them)

Him: "the womb is louder than a vacuum cleaner"
Me: "so thats why my newborn fell asleep to the vacuum cleaner"
I needed to vacuum my living room and didnt want to wake up baby but he legit fell asleep to it haha

I’m scared I might get obsessed with my baby. Can’t wait to see him/her in person. Ugh
