Long story as short.
I was trying to finish a job on a Friday.
I was already convicted on the Sabbath.
But it was about to start raining, and it would prevent me from finishing the job.
I said " God, how can I keep the Sabbath if I have to come to work tomorrow" amongst some other not so holy words.
There was thunder, lightning and rain all around me, but when I looked up a clear circle in the sky. I try to deny it, but not a drop of water on me the rest of the day.

In Colossians 2:16-17, the apostle Paul declares, “Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.” Similarly, Romans 14:5 states, “One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.” These Scriptures make it clear that, for the Christian, Sabbath-keeping is a matter of spiritual freedom, not a command from God.

In the early chapters of the book of Acts, the first Christians were predominantly Jews. When Gentiles began to receive the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, the Jewish Christians had a dilemma. What aspects of the Mosaic Law and Jewish tradition should Gentile Christians be instructed to obey? The apostles met and discussed the issue in the Jerusalem council (Acts 15). The decision was, “It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God. Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood” (Acts 15:19-20). Sabbath-keeping was not one of the commands the apostles felt was necessary to force on Gentile believers. It is inconceivable that the apostles would neglect to include Sabbath-keeping if it was God’s command for Christians to observe the Sabbath day.

But in Acts it says the brethren met on the 1st day of the week (Sunday)

"To the Jew I became a Jew ..." Paul mentions becoming "all things" to all people so he might win them

Jesus is our true sabbath. When coming to him and abiding in him, you will find true rest. We are told not to let anyone judge us about keeping the sabbath or holy days. Though it's good to spend time with other believers.

Jesus told us; Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. We observe the Sabbath because God gave it to us, out of his Love for us.

I feel very guilty on this, I only work on weekends and as Christian I feel very bad working the holy day, honestly working those 2 days help my family because on weekdays I take care of my children, my husband work without have to worry about who’s going to take care of my kids. I’m teaching my children about God every day. But keeping the sabbath should be a must. But then I remember when Jesus heal the man in a sabbath day . I don’t know it sounds like I’m justifying myself but God knows my heart and he will judge me when the time comes.

Saturdays are my Sabbath more so than Sunday....the more I Listen and Obey, the more He leads me in my daily decisions/discernment....in Jesus Christ name...as the Lord
